A wander in the gardens

A mist in the Fernery at the Botanical gardens, Hobart
Today was a strange kind of day. When i got up the weather looked a bit so so and because of that i spent the next couple of hours stuffing stound inside without giving the weather another thought. It was only when i decided that i wanted to have some lunch did i discover that an ordinary day had changed into something far better.
After grabbing some lunch (sausages in bread from the charity outside Anaconda) i decided i really needed to make use of the day but how? I had a bushwalk in mind but i decided that it was too late to be heading bush and driving over the Tasman Bridge i saw how still the water was and was sold. It was the perfect day to wander around the botanical gardens.
So i had a wander around the botanical gardens for a while with my camera (future series for Hobart Daily)and while we might be getting to the middle of autumn, i still got a little burned from the sun. I wasn’t the only one either with some people having a picnic or just enjoying the sun walking or sitting.
So in the end i made use of a great day in a good way. Mission accomplished.
