I survived the great ‘node outage of April 2009
So a little after 10pm what turned out to be the great ‘node outage of April 2009 arrived when i discovered my internet connection was down. At first i thought that it was a suddenly repeat performance of the connection problem i was having before Easter and meant crappy to no connections. I never found out what the cause of the problem was but i expect Telstra stuffed something.
So there i was trying to connect last night and nothing was happening. Oh noes, not again. What has telstra stuffed this time? How true it was when i read Telstra under fire over response to Tassie outage. The cynical side of me thought that it was some kind of telstra revenge for internode being about to pull 75% of their business to use basslink instead. Perhaps I am just cynical.

I tell you what it was no joke!
I’ve totally forgotten to function without a working internet connection.
