Just reading Twitter compromised by French hacker calling himself “Hacker Croll”.
A FRENCH computer hacker is believed to have tapped into Twitter’s internal system, gaining access to millions of accounts including high-profile users such as singer Lily Allen and actor Ashton Kutcher.
“Hacker Croll” is believed to be the first to hack into Twitter’s internal administration system.
Twitter founder Biz Stone confirmed unauthorised access was gained by an outside party during the week, but said only 10 individual accounts were viewed.
The micro-blogging website has strengthened its security measures.
