Earlier today, the U.S. declared a public health emergency over the Swine Flu, after confirming 20 cases of the flu spreading to humans in New York, Ohio, Kansas, Texas and California. More than 80 people have died in Mexico from the disease, which has potentially spread to other countries, including Canada and France.

Just reading Blu-Ray: Everything you need to know. I must say even for a geek who likes the latest toys I haven’t bothered buying a Blu-Ray player. I just haven’t seen the benefit. But with the stimulus package coming my way (eventually) maybe it is time? I still feel under-whelmed by Blu-Ray though. Perhaps i will wait longer?

I was just reading the CNET Australia Preview of the Nikon D5000. Sounds interesting and perhaps the increase in photographic quality i have been wanting. I only buy Nikon, not necessarily because they are the best but rather that i have Nikon lens etc already and it means i do not have to buy everything over again to fit a different brand camera.
